Back Into the Groove

Thank you all for bearing with me this month. I know I have not been around much and my posts have been a bit sporadic. It’s been quite the journey, but I am happy to announce that my back is feeling much better. Hooray!!! Now that I’m able to walk, sit up straight and drive again it’s time to get back into a groove.

In continuing to follow the signs presented to me, my new groove is going to include more writing. Yesterday, after I dropped Noah off for his first day of preschool, I drove over to the local coffee shop and set up my office there.

It felt fantastic to get out of the house and write. My favorite part was that there were no distractions such as dishes needing washing or laundry needing to be folded. I had three hours to pour my entire mind and soul into the art of writing. It felt great!

Of course my new groove is also going to include time for daily rest and renewal. In fact I just woke up from an afternoon nap 🙂 Considering the experience with my back pain, I don’t want to forget the importance of taking time for myself.

As the season begins to change I hope that you too are finding your own groove and maintaining balance in your life.

Love & Blessings,
Jeniffer

P.S. Here’s my cutie pie on his first day of school.   I still can’t believe it myself 🙂

Hi Christine! Thanks so much for your support, you are awesome 🙂
If I keep writing this much, hopefully my book will be completed quickly. Then you can read it and it will be just like looking over my shoulder.
      Sending love across the ocean!
