I am feeling so inspired lately. Inspired to create and inspired to inspire! Art is, as Picasso has said, a way to wash the dust from our everyday lives. While creating art of any form we are free from many of the restrictions we normally place on ourselves. We come to a place where time does not exist, problems melt away, and answers begin to appear. At least this is my experience with art and creativity. I know I’m not alone because I have read many accounts of artists who say that the act of creating has this incredible power. I want to encourage others to allow themselves to get creative, to play and to experience this wonderful feeling.
There are plans forming in my mind of ways to expand this website into a launching pad for creativity. Expect to see new inspiring features like interviews with other artists, tips and prompts to get your creative juices flowing, and possibly some online workshops. I can’t wait to share it all with you!
“Your whole life is composed by the will within you. And just as people whom you will have met apparently by mere chance became leading agents in the structuring of your life, so, too, will you have served unknowingly as an agent, giving meaning to the lives of others.”
– Joseph Campbell –
