Welcome to another edition of “Inspiring Artists!”
Andrea, Please introduce yourself and your art a little bit.
I am a creative goddess/healer/teacher, artist and all around magic-maker.
I believe that creative magic is what makes the world go round and that creative dreams can save the world.
I have been trained and accredited as a New Thought Healing Practitioner, which I describe as “a guide, mentor and teacher in making positive change, living the life you want to be living and creating dreams come true.” I am also an Artist and Designer with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Fashion Design and 1/2 of a degree in Interior Design.
I weave the creative and the spiritual together into magic potions to help creative dreamers bring their dreams to life.
For me art is…
Freedom. Possibility. Light.
What are you currently working on?
Creating new versions of my Creative Healing sessions, running my free Creativity 101 Creative Journaling e-course and my Creative Dream Incubator e-course, creating new journaling e-courses, and a few top secret projects.
And I am constantly Creative Journaling.
Can you tell us a little bit about your Art Journals?
Creative Journaling is all about magic. Getting into my creative flow and using it as a tool for healing and transformation – for creating magic in my life. The best way to describe it is with this video I made:
Who has inspired you?
Anyone who is being true to themselves and expressing their authentic spirit in their work inspires me. And there are too many of those people around to list!
What is your favorite inspirational quote?
Anything by Rumi.
Are there any tips to living a creative life that you’d like to share?
Recognize that you already are living a creative life, in that you are creating your life through the choices you are making. If you want more creativity in your life – make more creative choices.
Where can people find you and your work?
Andrea, Thank you for participating in the “Inspiring Artists.” I love how you “weave creativity and spirituality together.” There is so much healing power in the two.
Thanks so much for including me!
“Inspiring Artists” is an ongoing artist interview series at JoyfulArtsStudio.com. Join me Mondays for a weekly dose of creative inspiration.
The series will continue as long as there are artists wishing to participate. If you are an artist and would like to share your story, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org, I’d love to hear from you. Thank you!
Love & Blessings,
