2 More Secrets

The doors to the 21 Secrets playground open TOMORROW!!!!

I’m a little excited, can you tell? Working with 20 other amazingly creative and inspirational women will do that to anyone. I can’t wait to share what we have created with the world! If you still want to get in on all the fun, registration is still open through May 31st. (click here for details)

Now that everyone’s classes are up, I’ve been soaking in the creative splendor. My journal is on FIRE from all the new pages. I’ll do some more sharing later. Right now I want to tell you about two of the wonderful classes I’ve been absorbing.

The first is “Paint Writing” and it is taught by the beautiful, Expressive Artist, Silky Hart

“I believe in illuminating magic, in spectacular possibilities, in uplifting joy and in unbridled creative expression!” -Silky Hart

I’ve had so much fun playing around with the ideas in “Paint Writing.” It is such a freeing, creative approach that makes you really look at how you put text onto the page. She even shows us how to make a handmade journal from scratch! I’m still working on mine, but will be sure to share it with you when I’m done. This is just so much FUN!!!

Whether or not you get to take “Paint Writing” with Silky Hart, be sure to check out her website Expressive Hart. Her background in expressive arts is amazing. Also she has been doing artist Q & A’s on her blog which are powerfully inspirational.

Speaking of “Inspirational Artist” interviews, Kelley Brown, another fabulous instructor over at 21 SECRETS is going to be my first interviewee next Monday!

“Although I have always been an artist, through art journaling, I have come to live an artistic life.” -Kelley Brown

Through Kelley’s class, “Adding Dimension” I’ve learned some very cool techniques for creating windows and pop-ups in my visual journal. You can be sure to see a lot more of them popping up in future pages. (ha ha ha) They are so much fun and I love the dimension it adds to the page.

Kelley is an artist and an art therapist. Be sure to check out her website, Art Journaling As A Creative Process and come back on Monday to read her inspirational interview!
