Happy Friday everyone! Today I am busy painting away. I’ve started a new series of small paintings. 5″x7″ to be precise. They’re quick, loose, painting sketches and they are a lot of FUN!

I love these mini pictures – just as stunning as their big siblings! I notice that you are very drawn to pathways and roads – I totally understand this because I can’t resist them either – they just seem to be loaded with so much meaning whether as a symbol of the journey we are on in this life or simply counjouring up an air of mystery. Whatever the meaning though I always want to be walking along them – and yours are soooo inviting.

Pathways and roads? What do you mean? LOL!!!
Like you I am just absolutely drawn to them. I guess it’s just one of my things : ) My photography collection is overflowing with images / references for future paintings.
I’m sure you’ll see more in this new series! Thank you for your enthusiastic support. I look forward to sharing them all with you as they are developed.
