This image was inspired by an online class I took with artist Carmen Torbus. Through her “Spill It” workshop I learned layering techniques for working with acrylic paint, how to create image transfers, and discovered one of my new favorite materials, water soluble pastels.
The cat was added to the page using the image transfer technique. He was the house mascot at Le Vieux Couvant where I stayed during my France retreat.
