Trust Yourself

One of the best tips I can give to another creative soul is: Trust Yourself. Trust Your Intuition! Learn to listen to your inner voice and take action.

As artists we often spend too much time questioning ourselves and our work. We look to external sources to see if we are “doing it right.” But, what is right, especially when living a creative life? Art and it’s creator should be unique. They should be an unlimited expression of Creative Spirit.

Be authentic. Be YOU! Learn to trust your own ideas, even the crazy ones… especially the crazy ones!

Love & Blessings,
Jeniffer

Wise advice Jeniffer – I have always believed that self assessment is healthy, and still do – but that is different from self-doubt. Self-doubt is destructive and negative and we should try to reduce it it fin our lives. I have a little way to go on this one but I am getting there.. and with each step forward I have found I am so much happier in myself and freer in my expressions through art.

What a thoughtful comment. Thank you Christine! To be honest I think we ALL have days and moments of self-doubt. I know I am not exempt from this statement myself. In my experience the best way to overcome it is to keep moving forward with authenticity as you have demonstrated 🙂

Well Jeniffer you have helped me on this journey. Your workshop on 21Secrets was quite life changing. A very simple technique but so effective. I use it a lot! But the page I revisit the most is the one I actually made for the workshop.. if you remember my message said… “I believe I can”.. and that has become my motto. So.. thank YOU!!
