It’s never too late to transform yourself into that which you truly are.
It’s never too late to embrace new ideas about who you are.
It’s never too late to allow others to know you – the real you.
Who do you wish to be?

Im learning after 18 years of nursing, that I was created in the womb an artist. I am now giving myself permission to be only that. Ive squished the true me into a little bit of an artist just enough to be respected, just enough to taste it, like cheating on a diet. For years I would go to galleries and working artist studios and leave in tears like I had seen the love of my life with someone else. After painting from the age of 6 and even being rewarded an art scholarship, my mother forced me to go to nursing school (what she thought was best) From that point on I always felt like art was something self indulgent like chocolate. You can only have a little bit here and there, everynow and then, only children want to eat it all the time. Now I know for ME it is the true sustenance for my soul. I had no clue how starved I have been. I do get intimidated when I see others further along in there journey, and feel a little small and I mourn the time I lost. But I pull myself together and realize it truly is never too late.
