Divine Expression

Divine-Expression-FlyerI can hardly believe that my 3 year journey at Unity Institute and Seminary is nearly at an end.  I will be graduating in less than 4 months.

Overall, it has been an amazing experience.  For 3 years I have studied: Ministry, Theology, Spiritual Counseling, the Bible, Christian History, World Religions, Homiletics, Teaching, Self-Awareness and so much more.  I have learned so much through my courses.  I have learned so much outside of them as well.

Most importantly, I have learned that what I really want to do and how I want to serve others is through Arts Ministry.  I know it’s not a total shock for most of you reading this.  In fact it probably makes so much sense you are saying to yourself, “well, duh, of course she is!”  But it wasn’t always clear to me.  For a long time, I thought my passion for arts and my passion for spiritual exploration and education were two separate things.  I wrestled with this over the last three years.  Now, I know beyond a doubt that they are not separate at all, but intricately woven together.  I am excited to see how this continues to unfold in my life and career!

On February 17th at 4pm Central Time, I am giving my final student chapel service through Unity Institute.  I am using this as an opportunity to explore the concept of Arts Ministry, encouraging you to consider that every encounter with the arts has the potential to be a Divine Experience.  I am bringing in a fantastic group of musicians and local artists to help create an inspiring, experiential service.  The service will be held at Unity Village, MO and will be available livestream (for all of you out of towners)  www.UIStudents.org – follow the links.

This is me embracing and living my dream!

As always it is a pleasure to be on this journey with you.  I affirm that whatever Creative Spirit is seeking to express in, as and through you is possible!

Love & Blessings,

Jeniffer

Thank you so much Rev. Pat! I feel so blessed to have such an amazing support team on my side. I remember our conversation with you back when this was all still an idea floating around in my head and heart. Thank you for your encouragement!
