By request this party has been extended through December 16th!!!
Welcome! I have created this sacred space for you to share your dreams so that we may all hold them together. Last week I shared my vision board with you along with simple directions for making your own Vision Board. This party has come about because many of you expressed your desire and plans to create a vision board for yourself. If you have not already, I invite you to make your board and then come back here to participate in the Vision Board sharing party.
“There are people who put their dreams in a little box and say, “Yes, I’ve got dreams, of course I’ve got dreams.” Then they put the box away and bring it out once in a while to look in it, and yep, they’re still there. These are great dreams, but they never even get out of the box. It takes an uncommon amount of guts to put your dreams on the line.” – Erma Louise Bombeck
When we share our dreams, plans and visions with others we actually magnify their power. It is a form of commitment to our dreams. We allow our friends, family and fellow artists to help us hold the vision for us. They become our mirrors reflecting back to us our own potential. As we visualize our dreams and share them with the world we are calling them forth in our lives. This is when the magic happens!
Simply post your vision board and write about your dreams on your blog then link your blog post below. You can also link to a Flickr URL. I have demonstrated the easy to use link widget below. Submissions will be accepted on Monday Dec 5th at 12am US/EST – Friday Dec 16th at 11pm US/EST. Please include a link back to the party page on your post so that we can encourage others to participate.

Hi Jennifer… you have caught me in the middle of (yet another) studio clear out… quite a major rethink of the way I store things. So I might not make the Monday party but I will be following it and when I can get into my studio again without climbing over everything I will definitely do a dream board. At the moment I can visualise it being full of pictures of huge airy studios with acres of storage spage for pen, paint and paper stashes, fabric stashes, thread stashes and all the rest of the voluminous but essential piles of stuff we have in our studios! Meanwhile I’m hoping my feet will touch the ground soon as I sit on my piles (of stuff lol) and contemplate the meaning of the word “essential” and ponder how I can redefine it.

Sounds like fun Christine! You know how I like reorganizing studio space (and redefining words) 🙂
Sorry you can’t join in the party, but am glad to know you will be following!
Big love heading your way on a ship across the sea.
