The title of my talk this past Wednesday was “Divine Expression.” For me it was the culminating moment in embracing the concept of Arts Ministry. The music was powerful and got people up off their feet and spinning around. There was original artwork in the chapel and in the hall inviting viewers to engage. We were led in chanting to ground ourselves and sink into Divine Awareness. And there was my talk, 20 (ish) minutes exploring the potential of each encounter with the arts to be a Divine Experience for both the artist and the participant.
