A picture is worth a thousand words

A couple of years ago I had the incredible opportunity to visit France with a group of artists.  I could write an entire book about our wonderful trip, but for now I’ll stick with the quote “a picture is worth a thousand words.”  Perhaps the book will come at a later date.

What lovely photos. My favorite is the third, of the white cottage. I long to live in a cottage like that!

Jen, where do you get inspiration for your scenery paintings? Do you paint by imagination or do you paint from nature, photographs, etc?
